In the current model year, the Prius family has grown to four. With 34.3 cubic feet of cargo space, the Prius V has more cargo room than many small SUV's. Toyota markets the V as a family vehicle because it can transport a family and their belongings, while retaining its eco-friendly reputation. The last member of the Prius family is the most advanced thus far. It is the Prius Plug In, and it is exactly that: a car that you plug in. While keeping the Prius look, its lines are smoother and slicker then the others. The vehicle can be plugged into a home outlet and can be recharged in only three hours. This car will run on EV mode for as long as it can, getting 95 mpg, and then automatically turn to ECO mode and a fuel economy of 50 mpg highway. It is capable of going an estimated 11 miles on EV mode alone, and it can travel that distance at an estimated top speed of 62 miles per hour.
